I help my clients achieve faster and greater career success than going it alone.
In 2017, I founded Write-Résumé-For-The-Job after serving for many years as a senior level human resources leader in the warehouse, healthcare, and grocery industries. Shortly after that, I joined the incredible team of writers at Inspire Careers, Inc., and was personally mentored by founder and president, Beth Stefani.
Ms. Stefani founded Inspire Careers, Inc. in 1990 and quickly developed a national reputation for service excellence and profound personal integrity with her clients nationwide. Prior to her passing in early 2018, Ms. Stefani had hand-picked me to be the successor to carry on the legacy of Inspire Careers and share my own brand of professional insight, energy, creativity, and expertise with our clients worldwide.
I am honored to accept the torch from Ms. Stefani and keep it burning for those seeking a progressive and supportive partner as they navigate their career ambitions, choices, and paths.
So in January of 2019, Write-Résumé-For-The-Job became Inspire Careers! With this new direction, the tradition continues ─ and grows ─ to meet the needs of individuals desiring to explore and maximize their career potential.
No stranger to reinventing and launching new careers for myself, I now help others make the changes they need to improve the quality of their lives and achieve their career goals.
Inspire Careers LLC provides confidential, personalized consultation and guidance to you. Our mission is to:
We live this mission every day with our clients.
“Wow! If I received this type of [cover] letter I’d want to hire me on the spot. Thank you so much!”
-Operations Manager, Buffalo, NY
Early Career in Healthcare
I began my career as a registered nurse and worked for many years in various capacities at Sisters Hospital in Buffalo, NY. I moved into human resources to develop wellness and return-to-work-programs. These programs helped organizations save money on their healthcare costs and motivated people return to work quicker, expediting their return to a healthy and productive lifestyle.
Speaking and Teaching Experience
As an adjunct professor at Niagara University in Lewiston, NY, I teach Human Resources Management to students in the College of Business. I have also served as a guest lecturer at The Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart in Eggertsville, NY for the senior internship students, advising on résumé writing and career preparation techniques to set them up for success as they begin their college careers.
I enjoy presenting for local business groups and at networking meetings on relevant career topics such as “Best Practices in Today’s Résumé Writing” and “How to Begin Positioning Yourself to Make a Successful Career Move,” among many others. Visit my Speaking & Workshops page for more information!
National Certification / Academic Preparation
I am a Certified Professional Résumé Writer (CPRW) and Certified Professional Career Coach (CPCC). Recently, I became one of the first group of résumé writers in the country to achieve the new accreditation of Nationally Certified Online Profile Expert: Unleashing the Power of LinkedIn! (NCOPE).
I am a member of the Professional Association of Résumé Writers & Career Coaches (PARWW/CC) and The National Résumé Writers’ Association (NRWA).
I hold an MBA and BS in Business Management from the State University of New York and I maintain an active NY State license as a Registered Nurse.
ROAR Award Winner and Published Résumé Writer
I accepted the ROAR Award (Recoginizing Outstanding Achievement in Résumés) for New Writers Modern Classic Résumé at the annual National Résumé Writers’ Association conference. This is an award that acknowledges powerful and influential résumé designers in the industry nationwide. In March of 2019, I also had a new college graduate résumé published in Modernize Your Résumé: Get Noticed…Get Hired, 2nd Ed., from Emerald Career Publishing.
From C-Suite executives to college students and new grads...
I work with top level executives nationally and across the globe, as well as college seniors and new graduates ready for their first “real” job. I help career-minded professionals achieve optimal success as they progress through their careers and I attract a large number of healthcare professionals because of my background working as an RN for over a decade.
Most of my clients come to me through personal referral by a current or former client of mine. This means a lot to me: I am honored to know that my clients trust me with their families and friends, and I am aware, too, that my work is a reflection of their recommendation.
