Blatant disregard for human life and the continued persecution and discrimination of people based on the color of their skin is a crime against humanity and it will take all of us to stand together to bring justice, dignity, and true equality to people of all color. The events of George Floyd’s death on May 25, 2020 have brought the reality of #Blacklivesmatter to the attention of the nation and into the consciousness of those of us who do not feel the burden of the color of our skin on a daily basis.
