Since 1990, Beth has worked with senior and mid-level executives, consultants, and professionals from privately held companies, non-profit and government agencies, and Fortune 500 corporations including General Motors, Johnson Controls, Kellogg's, MCI, Xerox, Eastman Kodak, Pfizer, Agilent Technologies, Navistar International, Ingram Micro, Honeywell International, Sprint, Wachovia, Bristol-Myers Squibb, AT&T, FedEx, Praxair, and many others.
In 2002, Beth forged a business alliance with Dave Opton, CEO at ExecuNet , and began facilitating ExecuNet networking meetings in the Buffalo/Niagara/Rochester, NY area. Through monthly structured networking meetings, she helps executives to connect with others, expand their contacts, and share valuable leads. She also serves on the resume review panel at ExecuNet, offering professional guidance and advice to ExecuNet members.
After many years of recommending Rites of Passage at $100,000 to $1 Million as "required reading" for her executive clients, Beth approached author John Lucht in 2003 to offer her services to members of RiteSite. With John's guidance, Beth has successfully applied his pioneering job search and resume writing strategies in her work with Rite Site members. Beth holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and a Master of Education (Ed.M.) in Counseling from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Psychology, magna cum laude, at Grove City College.
She has presented and facilitated numerous job search and career development seminars to professionals and executives in a variety of career fields and industries. Her resumes have been featured in national publications including Best Resumes and CVs for International Jobs, by Ronald L. Krannich, Ph.D., and Wendy S. Enelow (published by Impact Publications in 2002), Best Resumes and Cover Letters for $100,000+ Jobs, by Wendy S. Enelow (published by Impact Publications in 2001), and the second and third editions of Resumes! Resumes! Resumes! published by Career Press in 1995 and 1997, respectively. She is also listed as a resource in the book, Career Distinction: Stand Out by Building your Brand, by William Arrudda and Kirsten Dixson.
Since 1994, Beth worked collaboratively with a Buffalo-based career management firm on major outplacement projects in the Buffalo, New York area. Two of her most notable projects were with Westwood Squibb Pharmaceuticals and Tops Markets/Ahold USA. Beth has also secured independent contracts with area businesses to provide a full range of career transition services to employees affected by termination, downsizing, or corporate restructuring.
Her previous experience includes six years in career counseling and campus recruitment at the State University of New York at Buffalo, and four years in commercial lending and credit analysis at Chase Manhattan Bank and Marine Midland Bank (HSBC).
