Georgia Whitney, MFA, joined Inspire Careers, Inc. as a resume writer and career consultant in 2010. She has more than 20 years experience writing for Fortune 50, health care, and human service organizations.
She is the owner of Write for Your Life, which provides comprehensive marketing, advertising, and public relations to businesses and individuals. Services also include guided autobiography workshops and life reviews.

As a writer, editor and facilitator, Georgia brings a unique blend of editorial skills, coaching, and business knowledge to her work at Inspire Careers. She has a special love for organizations that make a positive difference in people’s lives, and has successfully implemented marketing communications plans for several nonprofit organizations in the Buffalo, NY area.
Georgia has an extensive background in health care and bioscience. Her projects have ranged from editing robotic technology manuals for a pharmaceutical company, to facilitating life reviews for patients in a palliative care center. She is equally comfortable in a Fortune 50 environment, where she spent 11 years as a speech writer for corporate executives.
As a memoir writer, Georgia brings her passion for life stories to her work at Inspire Careers. She’s eager to elicit individual gifts and graces, and carefully tailors resumes to reflect her clients’ unique assets.

Credentials
Georgia holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Pacific Lutheran University and a B.S. in Communications from St. John Fisher College. She has completed Guided Autobiography coursework under gerontologist James Birren, and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America.
